UMRH HOME

    The trustees of The United Methodist Retirement Homes, Inc. (UMRH) are nominated by the current trustees. Sixty percent are elected by the UMRH Board of Trustees and  forty percent are elected by the Board of Institutions of  the North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.
    Members serve four-year terms and are eligible for an additional four-year term if approved by the UMRH Board of Trustees. Trustees who have served extended terms are eligible for honorary status. Currently there are seven honorary trustees. They are: Dr. Margaret Harper, Mr. George Newton, Mr. Hugh Jones, Mrs. Louise Peterson, Mr. Lloyd Whaley, Mr. M. W. Stancil and Dr. Albert F. Fisher
