    Welcome To Our Communities

    The United Methodist Retirement Homes, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization related by faith to the North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Although affiliated with The United Methodist Church our communities welcome persons of all faiths and spiritual beliefs. Our entrance age is fifty-five.
   
UMRH is comprised of four continuing care retirement communities and one affordable housing community located in four cities in eastern and central North Carolina. Our continuing care communities are managed by Life Care Services LLC, a national leader in senior housing. Our affordable housing community is a division of UMRH Affordable Housing, Inc. and is managed by Partnership Property Management of Florence, South Carolina and Greensboro, North Carolina. All the communities of The United Methodist Retirement Homes are fair housing communities.
   
The United Methodist Retirement Homes, Inc is dedicated to providing quality care and services for an inclusive and diverse population of senior adults. We invite you to read our mission and values as stated on the Mission page of this site. As a non-profit organization we understand the importance of social accountability and strive to make our communities socially and financially responsible to our residents, families, staff,  greater community,  government and  the church.
   
The United Methodist Retirement Homes, Inc. is governed by a Board of Trustees who serve without compensation. These volunteers are accountable to the public and take seriously their fiduciary responsibility. For a list of our trustees visit the Trustee page on this site.
